Richard S. Greene, M.D.

Richard S. Greene, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist with offices located in Plantation and Hallandale. He performs a blend of dermatologic and cosmetic/aesthetic services. As one of the Founders of Skin and Cancer Associates, Dr. Greene provides patients with the latest laser technology and expertise in the field.

Dr. Greene is a pioneer in the field of hair transplantation. Over the course of three decades, he has performed more than 10,000 individual hair transplants and has seen techniques evolve from the early stages to new, highly specialized micro and mini grafts. Dr. Greene has earned an international reputation that has been cultivated by patient referrals and word of mouth, with two thirds of his patients coming from around the world and one third of his patients living in Florida.

Dr. Greene offers his patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen. An office based Aesthetician is always available to perform professional facials.

Dr. Greene completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University and received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He performed his internship in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Service, Boston City Hospital and performed his residency in Dermatology at University Hospital, Boston University Medical Center where he was appointed to Chief Resident in Dermatology. He then performed Military Service as Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as Chief of Dermatology at Fort Leonard Wood Army Hospital.

Dr. Greene is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and served as an associate clinical professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He has co-authored many published articles and has hospital appointments with Biscayne Medical Center, Westside Regional and Memorial West.

Joel M. Wilentz, M.D.

Dr. Joel Wilentz trained in Dermatology at the New York University Skin and Cancer Unit and the Mount Sinai Hospital of New York City culminating as the chief resident in Dermatology.

Dr. Wilentz came to Florida in 1970 having served as Dermatologist to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. He began a dermatology practice with his good friend, Dr. Richard Greene who likewise recently fulfilled his Military obligation. This practice has grown into the largest Dermatological practice in the state of Florida encompassing 20 Physicians with 25 Physicians Assistants.

Dr. Wilentz is a past Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine, a past president of the Broward County Dermatological Society, a past member of the Board of Overseers of Nova Southeastern College of Pharmacy, and the immediate past President of ARMDI, which is the Israeli Emergency Medical Service and now the Chairman of the Board for the Southeastern United States. He is the president of BAMPAC, which is the Political Action Committee for Physicians, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Broward County Medical Society. Dr. Wilentz also serves on the Board of Directors for the State of Florida for NICA, which is the Neurological Injury Compensation Association and he is a member of the board of advisors for the Physician's Assistant program for Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Wilentz has published numerous articles in various medical journals.
